Thanks for dropping by my small piece of the web. This is my first attempt at trying
to create a website, and even though I know there are programs out there that format for you, and
create your short cuts for you and do everything for you, I decided to do it myself with the
HTML code thing. Everything you see, I punched in myself. So...if you keep seein' mistakes, don't
just complain about it, tell me so I can make it better. Mahalo.
Throughout my school years I focused on the jazz thing,
(that usually tends to be the focus of a saxophone, flute, and clarinet player). After earning
my Bachelors degree in Music, and loving the heavy focus in music theory, I taught in the public
school system on the big island of L.A.
I wanted to sing with the children, and decided to move into some type of stringed instrument.
That was in 1998.
I haven't played any wind instruments since.
Email me you wanna buy.
As you can see, I'm pure Haole baby. Every year I try to make it to the islands.
I've been to all of them at least twice, and yet I will continue to return. The culture, the beauty,
the music, the drinks. Put'em in any order you want.
At this point in my life my favorite instrument is my Kawika Tenor Ukulele, the four string.
I play every day, never miss a day, and play, pick and strum instrumental pieces that I both figure out
from sheet music and write. My music theory background really helps me kick butt. Gotta love that theory.
I have just completed my Masters Degree and am looking
forward to getting together with some jammin' Hawaiians out here to create some cool sounds.
I teach all levels of Ukulele both privately and at a night school out here on the big island of L.A. I started the South Bay Strummers Ukulele Group in Southern California, and have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to meet and play with some incredibly wonderful people.
You still here, yeah? Okay then, I'll keep talkin'.
The purpose of this website is to help push the importance of having
some great music in your life. The way you feel when you allow the
Ukulele to sing, the great people you can meet and the joy you can
bring to others through your music. It's all about the music.
The world would be a so much better place if more people made music.
