FIRST POSITION CHORDS
Welcome to my Chords pages. You should be
able to find all the chords you
will ever need on the following chord pages.
This first set of pages is a nice layout of FIRST POSITION chords.
Feel free to print and use these chords fo' whateva'.
Numbers located to the RIGHT of the fretboard indicate SPECIFIC FRET.
C
C Sharp
C~SHARP and D~FLAT, although spelled differently, are actually the same pitches, otherwise known
as ENHARMONIC TONES.
Within the following group of C~SHARP chords you can replace all of the C~SHARPS with D~FLATS.
Keep the TYPE and NUMBER which follows the same.
Examples:
C~SHARP MINOR 6 is the same as D~FLAT MINOR 6.
C~SHARP MAJOR 7 is the same as D~FLAT MAJOR 7.
ETC.
These ENHARMONIC chords are fingered the same and sound the same, they are merely spelled differently.
D
D Sharp
D~SHARP and E~FLAT are ENHARMONIC TONES.
Be advised that if you should run across the following, they are also ENHARMONIC TONES.
F Flat and E
E Sharp and F
C Flat and B
B Sharp and C
