Cooper Allen Reitinger
Lisa (South Bay Strummers) sent a picture of her new baby boy, born October 13th, (7 pounds 10 ounces). This young man might one day replace one of our present strummers, (so we'll treat him right).
Congratulations Lisa, on one of the few things you found that could replace your ukulele, (momentarily, we hope).
After all, It's only a baby, and this is ukulele we're talkin' about!
=)

South Bay Strummers
Trader Joes Birthday Bash Q,
November 15, 2003, Torrance, Ca.
(Oh yeah), proudly presents the return of the South Bay Strummers,
(Serious cuz, see the sign on the upper right corner of the big table sign?)
Ooohhhh yeaahh!
About 20 or so of the Strummers showed up to entertain the shoppers and Bar~be~que eaters with many musical favorites, old and new. There was a 3 dollar donation for the Que, with proceeds benefiting the California fire victims. (Cool).
Trader Joes always treats us right by feeding us and giving us a great locale to exhibit our prime island sounds!

We played so HOT they called the Torrance Fire Department, yeah? The Torrance firefighers stepped up to the fire and did some of the cookin' too, (between putting out the fires we started with our playin'). Jammin' brah! Hooooooweee! No can see da slippas supportin da marquee bradda? Dat because Cooper Allen Reitinger proppin' it up cuz! Mahalo Nui Loa menehune bradda!

Yeah, what can I say, this is my site, yeah? I jus gotta put one jammin' photo of me on hea.
(Is dis shirt slimmin'?)
Besides the awesome grinds provided by da braddas at Trader Joes, they also grouped some gift bags full of groceries that were Da Kine! Awesome people workin' da shop and always generous and full of da kine aloha spirit. Mahalo Nui Loa, Trader Joes for your support and allowing us to come and Jam on your Birthday.

Here is a group-ette of the South Bay Strummers who provided entertainment at the Holiday Potluck Banquet for the Westchester Begonia Society on December 10, 2003.
We were well loved by the Society and special thanks to Janet Brown and Katsuko Nakagawa (shown back row on right) for working the logistics in getting us there. The group-ette (from left to right - standing) Clint, Lisa, Linda, Jean, Larry, (sitting) Pat, Don and Mike.
